O jogo:
Gran turismo é um jogo de simulação, você estará simulando dirigir um carro.
No inicio, você irá começar com Cr. 10.000, não gaste esse dinheiro comprando um carro usado, passe as licenças B e A tudo em prata ou em outro (é facio, pois se apertar R3 aparece linhas no chão, por onde o carro deve passar), e use o dinheiro para tunar o carro que irá ganhar como premio nas licenças.
Na tela inicial voçê encontra
Home: A base do jogador. Lá, o piloto poderá salvar seu progresso, guardar e selecionar seus carros, visualizar o dinheiro disponível, vender seu carro.
License Center: O jogador deve tirar as licenças que darão direito a disputar determinados tipos de competição. São 5 licenças, com 16 provas cada uma. Cada licença completada dá ao jogador um carro novo.
Beginer Events: Sala com vários campeonatos, onde variados tipos de carro competem entre si.
Professional Events: Sala com vários campeonatos, onde variados tipos de carro competem entre si. O Grau de dificuldade dessas competições é maior.
Extreme Events: Sala com vários campeonatos, onde variados tipos de carro competem entre si. O grau de dificuldade é o máximo possível. Acessível somente quando ganhos todos os eventos em Begginer e Professional Events.
Endurance Events: Competições mais longas e extenuantes, como 24 horas, 1000 milhas, etc. Acessível apenas com 25% do jogo completo.
Driving Missions: 34 missões de dificuldades variadas, desde ultrapassagens a magic laps. Cada missão é disputada com um carro diferente.
Special Conditions Events: Sala dos eventos "Rallys", onde você usa seu carro em disputas de rua, neve, pista molhada e terra.
Sala de países: Em cada sala dessa, o competidor tem acesso aos respectivos fabricantes daquele país. Em uma sala de fabricante, é possível comprar carros novos, tunar seu carro ou comprar carros clássicos. Alguns fabricantes ainda possuem salas para competições, que, se ganhas, garantem também um carro novo.
Japanese, American e European Events: Competições regionais, nos mesmos moldes das salas Begginer e Professional.
Historic, Used Car Showroom 1&2: Salas onde existe a possibilidade de compra de carros usados.
GT Auto: Troca de óleo, lavagem e compra de peças (rodas e aerofolio) para seu carro. Trocar o óleo logo após a compra de um carro garante um aumento de HP para seu carro.
Tunner Village: Alternativa de tunning às lojas por país.
Photo Travel: Fotografe seu carro a vontade nessa sala.
City Courses, Power & Speed, Driving Park, Original Circuits, World Circuits, Dirt & Snow: Salas destinadas essencialmente para treinar com seus bólidos em determinadas situações ou em um circuito específico.
